A studio reformer class in the UK costs somewhere between £15 and £30 depending on where you live, and two a week adds up to more than £2,000 a year. That's the maths behind the flood of home reformers on Amazon, most of which are cord-only machines that feel nothing like the spring-loaded carriages in a studio. ZERELEK's foldable reformer puts springs on the carriage for under £400, and that single detail puts it ahead of the cord-only machines around it.
It isn't a studio machine. ZERELEK is an Amazon-first brand that publishes very little beyond the listing, so some numbers you'd want (spring tensions, unfolded length) simply aren't available, and we've been clear below about which claims come from the seller and which are our reading of them.

People who already do reformer classes and want to cut the bill, or who've done mat Pilates for a while and want the carriage work at home. It suits smaller homes too, because it folds to about 2 square feet and rolls away, which a studio-style wooden reformer never will.
Be honest about what you expect from it. The research on Pilates is good but modest: a systematic review of Pilates for chronic low back pain found it beat minimal intervention for short-term pain and disability, but it was no better than other forms of exercise (meta-analysis of Pilates for low back pain). ZERELEK combines them: springs for the carriage and cords running through the adjustable pulley risers for arm work, leg circles and feet-in-straps exercises. The seller says the springs and cords are tested for more than 10,000 uses. We can't verify that number, and it's the kind of figure that tends to come from a factory test sheet rather than real-world wear, but springs are cheap and standard parts if one does eventually go.

The carriage runs on eight multi-direction wheels in a steel track, which is the right design for a smooth glide, though any folding frame needs a level floor to run true, so check it sits flat before your first session. Shoulder rests adjust for different body sizes, which matters more than people think, because a shoulder block set in the wrong place turns footwork into a neck exercise.
The jump board is the useful surprise. Jump work (lying on the carriage and springing off a vertical board) is one of the most popular studio formats and a genuine cardio session, and on many home reformers the board is an extra-cost accessory.
Where the price probably shows is padding. ZERELEK describes foam under PU leather on the carriage and footbar but gives no thickness, whereas AeroPilates makes its high-density shoulder blocks and headrest a selling point. If the headrest feels hard on longer sessions, a folded thin yoga mat solves most of it.
The AeroPilates 287 costs more, has better padding and a brand with decades of history, but relies on cords only and carries 100lb less. The problem is the instruction, not the hardware: ZERELEK includes an exercise guide and an installation video, but a reformer punishes poor alignment more than a mat does. If you've never done reformer Pilates, take four to six studio classes first so you know what footwork and the hundred should feel like, then train at home.

Folded, ZERELEK says it takes up about 2 square feet and rolls on wheels, so it can stand in a corner or slide under a bed. Unfolded, a full-length reformer needs roughly the length of a tall adult lying down plus arm room, so plan for at least 2.4m by 1m of clear floor. ZERELEK doesn't list exact unfolded dimensions, which is an omission worth asking the seller about.
