Viavito is a fairly new brand, established back in 2015. But look past the youthful exterior and you'll find some of the biggest and best names in the fitness equipment industry behind it, ensuring Viavito produce high-quality kit from their HQ in Middlesex.

The Viavito LunaRun Fold Flat Treadmill is their flagship machine, and the very reason the brand came to our attention. Until fairly recently we hadn't tested any of their treadmills, so over the last few weeks we put the LunaRun through its paces to see if it's really worth the money, or whether a lower-cost treadmill gives you better value. Let's find out.
It's no exaggeration to say the LunaRun is packed with features you'd struggle to match outside a gym at this price. The treadmill reaches a maximum speed of 10mph (16km/h), powered by its 1.25 hp DC continuous-duty motor, more than enough for even experienced runners.

This full-feature treadmill comes with 12 preset programmes covering everything from beginner to experienced, so you can jump straight into a run that suits you. Better still, those presets were designed by a certified personal trainer.
There are also 7 further programmes: 3 countdown programmes, 1 body-fat programme and 3 user-defined programmes you can create and save for later. Everything is controlled via the blue backlit LCD screen on the front of the machine.

One feature seriously overlooked on most flat folding treadmills is the ability to add an incline to your run. The LunaRun has 10 levels of powered incline, from 1% up to a steep 10%. The powered incline is controlled from keys built into the handlebars, so you can switch up your run instantly without reaching for the console, much like a standard gym treadmill.
The bright, clear 5" backlit LCD display gives you live feedback on the usual metrics: speed, time, distance and calories burned. Thanks to the integrated pulse-grip sensors in the handlebars, it also provides an accurate pulse reading.

Build quality is an important area to weigh up on any home treadmill. You want it sturdy enough to feel strong and secure when running, but not so bulky and heavy that it takes over your home. You also want something that lasts, rather than something that breaks after six months with no warranty to fall back on.

Fortunately, the Viavito LunaRun is an absolute beast that blends practicality with a sturdy, quality build.
The first thing you'll notice on arrival is the set-up. It comes pre-assembled in the box and took us only around 15 minutes to get up and running, with no finicky bits and pieces to fight with. Pre-assembled treadmills are uncommon at this price; most need a couple of hours before your first run, so it's refreshing to find a brand that puts this much effort into the out-of-box experience.

It isn't too heavy either. At around 49kg (~110lbs), one person can realistically set it up alone. The treadmill feels strong and sturdy, with no plasticky parts or dodgy connections. It's about as close to a commercial-quality treadmill as you'll get at home for this price.
The treadmill has a maximum user weight of 90kg (198.4lbs). That's fairly low compared with some treadmills, but the LunaRun is aimed at people with limited space who want a gym-quality folding machine they can store away when not in use, and it does that job very well.
The engine powering the LunaRun is a 1.25 hp continuous-duty motor, meaning it can run indefinitely without its temperature rising outside the expected range. That makes these motors reliable and a popular choice in good-quality running machines like this one.

The running surface is wider than most home treadmills and feels great underfoot, with plenty of cushioning to ease the load on your joints and reduce impact. At 42 x 125cm, the deck is a great platform for indoor jogging, running and sprinting.
The LunaRun also includes a couple of water-bottle holders plus a phone and tablet holder, so you can watch your favourite shows while you run. The tablet holder feels secure and kept our tablet in place even while sprinting.
When you're ready to store the machine, you simply fold it by lifting the deck upwards. It folds flat and can be stored vertically or horizontally, perfect for under the bed, inside a cupboard or similar. Transport wheels at the end mean you're not lugging it around every time you want to set it up again.
After a few months of regular use, we wanted to update our review to give you a realistic idea of what it's like to live with the Viavito LunaRun.
So how has it stood up? Genuinely well. We've enjoyed using the LunaRun regularly, and even after a few months it feels capable of withstanding years of home workouts for the whole family. It's one of the best home treadmills we've come across, both for features and build quality, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

Buying tip
If space is your main concern, the LunaRun's flat-folding design is a genuine standout. It stores far more easily than most treadmills at this price. Just double-check the 90kg user-weight limit suits everyone in the household before buying.
It's a superb home treadmill. If you want a machine that packs in all the features you could need, backed by a great warranty and top-notch build quality, the Viavito LunaRun is well worth a look.
Yes. You fold it by lifting the deck upwards and it folds completely flat, so it can be stored vertically or horizontally, under a bed or in a cupboard. Transport wheels at the end make it easy to move.

Yes. It has 10 levels of powered incline, from 1% up to 10%, controlled directly from the handlebars so you can change gradient without touching the console.
The maximum user weight is 90kg (198.4lbs). It is on the lower side, so heavier runners may want to look at a sturdier machine, but it suits most users wanting a compact folding treadmill.
