Strength & Conditioning Writer, Best Exercise
Kettlebells, dumbbells, mobility and exercise technique
Nadia Popescu has coached strength and conditioning for more than ten years, working with everyone from nervous first-timers to club athletes. Most of that coaching now happens around home training, where she has learned what actually works in a spare room or garage rather than a fully kitted commercial gym.
At Best Exercise she focuses on technique and the kit that supports it: kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands and the exercise form guides that help people get results without picking up injuries. She is a stickler for honest cues and realistic progressions, and she judges a movement or a piece of equipment on how it holds up over months of regular use, not a single session.
Nadia leans on coaching experience and current strength research in equal measure. If a product or a technique will not help you train better, she would rather say so than sell it.

How we research and review
Researched, not guessed
Every recommendation is built from owner reviews, manufacturer specs and independent expert testing, cross-checked across the market.
Honest about trade-offs
We list the downsides as plainly as the strengths. A review that can't say what's wrong with a product isn't a review.
Independent rankings
We're funded by affiliate commissions but never led by them. No product earns a better place for paying more.
Kept up to date
Fitness kit changes. We revisit guides as models are revised, discontinued or replaced, and date every update.
